Early birds get Ford Focus Ultimate Test Drive holeshot
Our competition to win a Ford Focus is off to a flying start... But it's old-school entries that dominate so farCarsales Network readers have hit the ground running in the opening days of our Ford Focus Ultimate Test Drive competition... or should that be hit the keyboard writing?
The Ford Focus Ultimate Test Drive competition gives you the chance to win an all-new top-of-the-range Ford Focus Titanium TDCi – just by telling our Australian-wide audience exactly what you think of the car. But to be selected you first have to prove your mettle by reviewing anything about which you're passionate.
The first few entries have, not surprisingly featured cars... Tom Sammuns has told us about his Subaru and Ranil Illesinghe about a Pug 205 GTi. Dallas Murray has kept it in the family, writing about his (or her... sorry Dallas) Focus XR5 pride and joy!
But in the face of a dearth of video reviews, it's Mark Barwell's words and pix old-school entry that's our pick as an early favourite thanks to a fully-formatted (in Carsales Network house style) launch review of... last night's dinner!!! Let's hope it's not subject to a recall...
carsales.com.au visitors can find Mark's and other entries plus all the details about how the enter the competition at our dedicated Ford Focus Ultimate Test Drive site.
In short, in the first instance to enter you need, like Mark, Tom and Dallas, to send us a review -- video or written -- on anything about which you're passionate. A car, a motorbike, or, it seems, a parmigiana. From here your review will be judged by a panel of experts from Ford Australia and its agencies. If you impress you could be one of 12 finalists who will be given the use of a turbodiesel Focus Titanium for six weeks and issued a series of tests.
The Carsales Network audience will then vote to determine the best Focus blogger and the winner gets to keep his or her Titanium TDCi.
The Focus Ultimate Test Drive campaign will run through until August 19, 2011 but you only have until noon on June 17 to be in with a chance to be a finalist... Better get your skates on...
