Holden has hosed-down rumours that it will put its Efijy show car into limited production.
The story, which hit the internet last night, suggested Holden might get HSV involved to build an unspecified number of Efijys at about $1 million a pop.
Some overseas websites say a number of well-heeled businessmen in the US, UK, Middle East and Russia have put their hands up for their version of Holden's 2005 show car which has been a huge hit on the international show circuit.
One site even specified the brother of Russian president Valdimir Putin as a starter.
But a Holden spokesperson today described the story as "just speculation".
