EV expo locked in for Canberra this weekend

Exhibition Park the go-to place for Canberrans wanting to know more about EVs in wake of ACT’s plan to phase out ICE vehicles

Canberra will be awash with all things EV this weekend, when the 2022 Australian Electric Vehicle Association (AEVA) EV Conference and Exhibition takes over the Coorong and Buddawang Pavilions at Exhibition Park.

Comprising a full-day conference on Friday and a two-day public exhibition spanning Saturday and Sunday, the event is designed to highlight all things electric vehicle-related both at an industry and consumer level.

Free for the public to attend (registration required), the exhibition will provide consumers with the chance to chat with industry experts about the growing number of electric models entering the Australian market and learn more about EV charging, range and making the swap to electric power.

“For those already in the EV market, or those looking to make the change, the upcoming AEVA 2022 EV Conference and Exhibition is the perfect place to learn more,” an event spokesperson said.
