Renault has released a limited edition version of its spritely 2.0-litre Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet drop-top.
Dubbed the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet LX, the car delivers an extra $1500 worth of additional features and is easily identified by unique five-spoke 17-inch alloys and a "striking" charcoal and red leather interior, says Renault.
The interior also boasts dark carbon finishes with satin chrome highlights, red highlight stitching for the seats, steering wheel and gear knob.
Also included in the LX's armoury is a removable anti-turbulence screen. The mesh screen is designed for two-up touring and reduces cabin wind turbulence when fitted to the rear seat compartment -- it is unique to the limited edition model, the maker claims.
Available in a choice of three colours -- Flame Red, Platinum (silver) and Pearl Black -- the Limited Edition Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet is offered in both manual and automatic versions.
Prices for the six-speed manual kick off at $48,990 with the four-speed auto available from $51,490.
