Picture of the facelifted 2020 BMW 5 Series have surfaced online months before the German car-maker wanted you to see them.
Unearthed on
, the refreshed 5 Series features a pair of larger kidney grilles, revised headlights and a redesigned lower half of the front bumper that now includes three larger air intakes. At the rear there's a pair of new LED tail-lights and a bumper that now incorporates what looks like a faux rear diffuser.
As part of the mid-life tweaks, the 5 Series also sports a set of redesigned 20-inch alloy wheels.
Designed to bring the large luxury sedan more in line with smaller 3 Series, the new 5 Series facelift appears to emphasise its sportiness.
Sadly, there's no confirmation on what's happened beneath the skin but it's thought the big BMW sedan and wagon will be relaunched with a range of cleaner petrol and diesel engines, plus an updated plug-in hybrid powertrain.
