The first official image of updated 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe large SUV has been released.
It shows a fresh take on the seven-seat SUVs front-end design, which has been described as 'rugged yet refined' by the Korean car brand.
The significantly revised front-end design draws inspiration from the Hyundai Vision T concept (itself previewing the next Hyundai Tucson mid-size SUV), with its T-shaped LED daytime running lights and new grille design.
The new-look 'stereoscopic' geometric patterned grille catches light from different directions, delivering dual appearances depending on the direction of light.
Hyundai says the high-tech visuals "hint at technological enhancements" so expect plenty of new techno-doodads inside and outside the vehicle.
As Hyundai's longest-running SUV, the Santa Fe will get a "rugged yet refined exterior design, as well as interior design updates providing premium amenities and comfort", according to the Korean brand.

It's understood the facelifted Santa Fe model will be arriving in Australia before the end of 2020.
Pricing for the current model Hyundai Santa Fe large SUV starts at $43,550 for a 2WD 3.5-litre V6 petrol Active variant and tops out at $61,050 for the 2.2-litre turbo-diesel Highlander model-grade.
The Hyundai Santa Fe has found 1578 buyers thus far in 2020. The top-selling vehicle in the large SUV segment in Australia to date is the Toyota Prado (4900) followed by the Toyota Kluger (3010).
Stay tuned for more details on the updated 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, a hybrid version of which is also expected to be revealed soon.
