Official Smart tuner Brabus has announced two new optional design kits for the hot 2024 Smart #1 Brabus and 2024 Smart #3 Brabus, each claimed to enhance electric SUVs’ aerodynamic performance while enhancing their visual punch.
Available now in Europe and potentially in Australia at a later date, the upgrades are said to enhance the flagship #1 and #3’s high-speed stability and handling but aren’t accompanied by any sort of power or performance upgrades.
As such, the dynamic duo still output 315kW/543Nm courtesy of their dual-motor powertrains and launch from 0-100km/h in a claimed 3.7 seconds.
The kits themselves comprise a Brabus-branded front spoiler with extra winglets on either side of the bumper, while an enlarged spoiler sits atop the tailgate opposite a new functional diffuser on the rear apron.
Other new options for the pair include a set of 10-spoke Monoblock Z alloy wheels and a new sports suspension set-up that takes another 35mm out of the ride height in the name of sportier dynamics.
The cabin has been made privy to some new extras too, specifically a backlit kickplate, branded floor mats, boot liner and aluminium pedals.
Both Brabus models will be available in Australia as of next month, positioned as the flagship variants of their respective portfolios, with #1 Brabus starting from $67,900 plus on-roads and the #3 Brabus from $70,900.
