Ferrari invites you to its 70th birthday
Prancing Horse welcomes public to Ferrari Passion Day around Australia this SaturdaySeventy years after Enzo Ferrari wheeled out the 125 S – the first car to bear his name – from a modest factory for its first test drive on the streets of Maranello, Ferrari has become a global supercar phenomenon and Italian icon.
To celebrate its 70th anniversary, Ferrari will host a series of events across Australia and New Zealand this Saturday (November 18) — and you’re invited.
Following a similar commemoration at Melbourne’s Motorclassica classic car show last month, this weekend’s seven-decade celebration will be free and open to the public.
‘Ferrari Passion Day’ will be celebrated at Prancing Horse dealerships in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland.
Apart from displays of classic and modern Ferrari models and special-edition cars, there will be a series of workshops, talks, celebrity appearances, face-painting, gelato, coffee and Ferrari giveaways to celebrate Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary.
“We are delighted to be celebrating our 70th anniversary this year and wanted to create an opportunity for our fans to see up close what makes the Ferrari marque so special,” said CEO Ferrari Australasia, Herbert Appleroth.
“It is fantastic to be able to give something back to our fans and showcase Ferrari classics and modern vehicles to our extended Ferrari family.
“We are looking forward to celebrating this important milestone and sharing our marque’s iconic history with our fans across Australia and New Zealand and encourage everyone to come down and join the celebrations.”
