Ferrari looks set to unveil the 2023 Ferrari Roma Spider next week, having just released a shadowy teaser image of a steering wheel on its social media channels.
In the short clip, Ferrari appears to show the car’s roof dropping gracefully to bathe the cabin in warm sunlight, while the steering wheel looks identical to the one fitted to the current Ferrari Roma coupe.

The company also says “we have something special coming your way on the 16th of March, save the date”.
It’s not entirely clear whether the Ferrari Roma Spider, which has been spotted testing recently, will serve as a replacement for the current Ferrari Portofino M or slot into the line-up underneath.
Regardless, the Roma Spider will come powered by the same 456kW/760Nm 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 as the coupe.
That should see it almost match the hard-top’s 0-100km/h sprint of just 3.4 seconds and equal its 320km/h top speed.
It’s too early to talk pricing, but in Australia the Ferrari Roma coupe is priced from $409,888 plus on-road costs, so count on the drop-top version carrying a premium of at least $40,000.
