Five cars with a 360-degree camera to help you perfect your park

Are you a terrible parker? Have been known to rub shoulders with pillars and gutters? Well, a 360-degree camera-equipped car might be what you need.

Having a bird’s eye view over the situation of trying to navigate a tight park, long driveway or just a challengingly tight street or laneway is advantageous.

Here are five cars that offer a 360-degree camera to help you navigate any tricky situation.

The Nissan Qashqai offers on higher trim levels a surround-view camera and front and rear sensors to help navigate the small SUV into any spot. The screen is divided into two, showing both a bird's eye 360-degree view as well as a live feed of the rear of the car.

Hyundai IONIQ 5

The Hyundai IONIQ 5's 360-degree camera or Surround View Monitor (SVM) as they call it uses a series of cameras to create a real-time 3D 360-degree view of the car. The 3D IONIQ 5 and the real-world camera view are displayed on the car's massive centre infotainment screen making maneuvering confined spaces easier.

The Audi Q7 is one big machine. Those not used to an SUV of this size will certainly appreciate the plethora of camera angles and parking sensors ready to guide you. The 360-degree camera gives you all the key angles including overhead, front, rear and sides. There are also front and rear parking sensors to help guide you through the trickiest of situations.

The Volvo XC40 comes with four cameras that combine to provide a 360-degree bird's eye view of the car helping you to navigate tight parking spots. There are also guiding lines to help you predict the angle of the car and whether or not the small SUV will be able to glide into the space.
