Five easy ways millennials can save for a new car

Millennials are a generation of liberated, self-aware and passionate individuals – who can regularly be found on public transport, spruiking the benefits of ride-share services and occasionally pedalling a blue bike.

Often, they have no car. The first generation to grow up completely immersed in technology, they’ll certainly know how to find a good car. carsales.com.au, naturally. But having the necessary funds to get said car is a struggle.

That extra $5 or so delivery fee… it all adds up. If you had a car, you could pick it up. Simples.

Avoid fancy beverages

Slowly ween your discerning palette off premium beverages and pint-sized cocktails. A $45 round of drinks stings like missing a ‘free-shipping Australia wide’ offer. It’s only the next day that you feel the real pain. Opt for beverages that are served in jugs or are even alcohol free...
