While some celebrities have epic car collections that would make automobile museums green with envy, others have more modest ranges, preferring reliability and practicality over luxury and excess.
Either way, what car a celebrity owns or drives can be as interesting as celeb gossip including who's dating - or cheating on - who (the latter of which, perhaps even more so).
So, let’s (unashamedly) take a sneaky peek into celebrity rides and car collections.
Unless you’ve been under a rock, you’ll know that Kamala Harris is vying for the US Presidency with very strong views on issues far and wide.
When it comes to her cars though, the current Vice President has two vehicles that almost contradict each other.
Firstly, the environmentally friendly Chevrolet Bolt EV, which is one of the most popular electric cars in the US due to its affordable price (it retails for around AUD $40,000).
At the other end of the spectrum though is her second car, a Chevrolet Suburban SUV that has a 6.2-litre V8 turbo engine.
Unlike Harris, Trump owns an extensive (and very expensive) collection of cars, and this isn’t surprising given that he has an estimated net worth of between AUD $3.8- $14.5 billion (depending on who you ask).
The list of cars is quite diverse, including a 1956 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, Cadillac Allante, Tesla Roadster, 2015 Rolls Royce Phantom, 1991 Acura NSX, Mercedes-Benz S600, 2007 Ferrari F430 C and a Cadillac ‘Trump’ Limo.
The prices are also wide-ranging, with the Cadillac Allante valued at approximately AUD $15,000 and the 2015 Rolls Royce Phantom at approximately AUD $596,000.
During his time as President though, Trump was never allowed to drive himself, so it is safe to assume these were probably safely parked in his oversized garage and unless he's recently had bullet-proof windows installed, probably still are.
This pop superstar doesn’t just sing about working at the car wash, she has an enviable car collection too (albeit one I am sure she doesn’t actually wash herself).
Xtina's purchases have included a Ferrari California, Range Rover, Cadillac Escalade, and a Rolls Royce Phantom which made an appearance in her music video for 'Ain’t No Other Man'.
Interestingly though, Aguilera doesn’t drive any of her cars, and she doesn’t hold a current driver’s license - intentional decisions that she revealed on Jimmy Kimmel - due to her fear of crashing while being chased by the paparazzi. Instead, she enjoys the ride from the passenger seat.
Self-proclaimed and proud, childless cat-lady, Taylor Swift may have endorsed Kamala Harris for the US Presidency over Trump, but she does have something in common with her Presidential nominee nemesis.
Two things actually; along with being a billionaire, she owns a pretty impressive range of cars.
In a list nearly as long as her setlist from the three-hour Eras Tour concert, Swift reportedly owns 12 cars: a Lexus SC430 Convertible, Mercedes Maybach S650, Chevrolet Silverado, Mercedes-Benz Viano, Toyota Sequoia, Audi R8, Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari 458 Italia, Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes-AMG G63, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and finally a Nissan Qashqai.
But no Suzuki Swift!
Thanks to Harry’s very entertaining memoir, Spare, not only did readers learn way too much information about his “todger” but also that the Prince has a passion for cars.
A part of this involves a car collection fit for a royal including a fully electric, 2022 Audi e-tron SUV.
Over the years, Harry has driven a selection of Audis including the RS6 Avant (which he put up for sale on Auto Trader - even royals need cash), along with countless Land Rovers.
During his wedding to Meghan Markle, the couple left Windsor Castle in a Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero and since making their move across the pond, have embraced LA life with a Cadillac Escalade.
