Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch Concept revealed
Special Bronco concept aims to show how easy regular off-roader is to modifyFord has released full details of its new Ford Bronco Badlands Sasquatch 2-Door Concept unveiled at the online-only SEMA modified car show in Las Vegas.
Created to demonstrate just how easy it is to customise the Bronco, Ford claims that to create your very own Bronco Badlands Sasquatch takes just a few hours, rather than the days and weeks other SEMA concepts take to build.
To modify the standard Ford Bronco, the factory wheels were swapped out for a new set wrapped in all-terrain tyres. Next, almost every body panel was removed and replaced with new front and rear fenders, the half door and roof.
The tow mounts and interior grab handles, meanwhile, have all been replaced with 3D-printed titanium items.
The idea behind the simple customisation is to show owners how they can use their Bronco Monday to Friday as their main vehicle before easily converting it into an extreme off-roader on the weekend.
The wild Bronco was just one of five concepts unveiled online, with the Blue Oval showing its previously seen 1044kW Ford Mustang Mach-E1400, a modified Bronco Sport, uprated full-size F-150 pick-up and a special Ford Ranger-based XLT Tremor SuperCrew.
The latter, Ford claims, has been customised with Ford Accessories and Ford Performance Parts for those who indulge in extreme off-roading, but also enjoy mountain biking and kayaking.
