Ford has launched another new and even more capable variant of its 2022 Ford Bronco 4x4 that's been designed and engineered for those who regularly encounter deep water off-road.
Dubbed the Ford Bronco Everglades, the model features a new snorkel that, along with raised vents for the front and rear axles, transfer case and transmission, allow it to cross water that is up to 924mm deep – 73mm deeper than the regular version.
Other new standard kit to ensure you'll (hopefully) never get stuck out in the bush include a new Zeon 10-S Warn winch that can haul up to 4.5 tonnes.
Combined with a heavy-duty Ford Performance front bumper, protective safari bar, rock rails and steel armoured front and rear bash plates, the latest Bronco is the toughest Ford SUV yet.
Externally, the Bronco Everglades also gets modified mud guards, plus new graphics on the front fenders.
Up front there's a new grey grille and gloss black Bronco lettering.
As an option, buyers can specify the Sasquatch pack that adds larger 17-inch wheels wrapped with 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tyres.
Inside, the Bronco Everglades gets washable marine-grade vinyl seats and rubberised flooring.
New green accents have also been introduced that can be found on the grab handles, air vents and seat stitching.
Only available with the 224kW/440Nm 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, the tough Bronco Everglades comes with a 10-speed automatic as standard.
On sale in March in the US, the Bronco has been priced from around $US53,000 ($A73,500).
Lack of right-hand drive for the Australian market means it's highly unlikely the Bronco will be offered to buyers Down Under.
