Ford is joining the likes of the Toyota by offering capped price servicing on its first ever four-cylinder Falcon.
The expansion of the myFordCapped Price Servicing program now includes the Ford Falcon MkII EcoBoost models, Ford Kuga, Ranger, joining the rest of the Ford range.
The new capped price servicing scheme covers cars for up to six years, or 105,000km, whichever comes first. It is designed to reduce costs for customers and provide peace of mind, says Stephen Kruk, Ford Australia General Manager, Customer Service Division.
"Our customers tell us that price and trust are two of the most important things for them when they take their vehicle to a dealer They don’t want to be ripped off.
"Importantly, it’s not just for the warranty period but for the whole new car ownership cycle – up to six years old or 105,000 kilometres, whichever occurs first."
Ford also bundles roadside assistance with some models, as Kruk explained.
"For an FG Falcon MkII EcoBoost at any participating dealer, the maximum costs of an A [minor] logbook service [15,000, 30,000, 60,000, 75,000 or 105,000 km] is currently $240, which includes 12 months myFord Roadside Assistance [normally $90]. Given a customer only has to return every 12 months or 15,000 km for service, this represents fantastic value for money."
