Ford Kuga to be revealed in Frankfurt
New concept embraces "kinetic design" from the Iosis X in a 'Crossover'/SUV capacityFord will present the new Kuga at the Frankfurt motor show (IAA) in September.
Kuga -- the car pictured -- is a production-ready version of the Iosis X (more here) from which the Kuga draws its inspiration.
The styling is thematically very close to both the Iosis X and the original Iosis, the basis for the new Mondeo's styling.
Kuga's styling verifies that 'Ford Kinetic Design' will be the company's new corporate look (as 'Edge' styling was during the nineties) for the 21st Century.
Production of the Kuga, which was first seen in prototype form here will commence early next year at Ford's Saarlouis plant in Germany, in anticipation of a European launch in the northern hemisphere spring (our autumn).
