Ford Racing Night: Tuesday May 11
The cream of Ford's V8 Supercar driver crop will be at the first Ford Racing Night of 2010 at FPR's headquarters in CampbellfieldFord's V8 Supercar factory team, FPR, along with the Blue Oval Store is holding its first 'Ford Racing Night' of 2010 on Tuesday May 11, at the FPR Race Centre in Campbellfield (Vic).
Fans of the FPR and other Ford teams will get the chance to meet and greet Ford drivers such as Mark Winterbottom and Shane Van Gisbergen, away from the hustle and bustle of the racetrack. Other Ford drivers in attendance will include Steve Richards, Alex Davison, Paul Dumbrell, Tim Slade and James Moffat. The Ford Racing Night event kicks off at 5:30pm and runs until 8:00pm. Entry is free.
As well as signing autographs, the Ford V8 Supercar drivers and also race engineers will be interviewed by Channel 7's Aaron Noonan. On top of tours of the FPR Race Centre, there will be door prizes, plus free food and soft drinks. It will also be a good time to snap up some good gear on the cheap, with 15 per cent off all FPR merchandise on the night.
Ford Performance Racing will hold other 'Ford Racing Nights' around the nation to coincide with selected rounds of the V8 Supercar Championship, the dates of which will be "advised in due course" says FPR. Check out FPR.com.au for more details.
