Ford Ranger and Everest prices rise again

Up to $1200 added to Ranger and $2490 to Everest asking prices for 2024

Patiently waiting Ford Ranger and Everest customers have had yet another price increase thrust upon them, with the new pricing set to come into effect as of January 1, 2024.

The fourth price hike for the new Ford Ranger since its original pricing was announced in April 2022 applies to MY24 vehicles and follows similar increases announced in April (also for MY24) and November 2022 (MY2023.50), while higher MY24 Everest prices were announced in May.

It comes as delivery wait times for V6 variants including the Raptor continue to top 12 months and even two years in some cases, with average Ranger wait times still hovering between six and nine months.

And those in the queue wondering if their order will be price-protected are in for mixed outcomes depending on when they ordered, with Ford declaring that all orders “contracted as of September 15 and… have production allocated will be price protected”.

So how much more will new and unprotected orders cost? As usual it varies between models and variants, but the biggest Ranger increases will be $1200 – similar to those implemented earlier this year – while Everest prices will climb by up to $2490.

A full variant-specific breakdown of the increases can be found below, and note that Ford Australia has not announced any specification changes to help soften the blow for those keen on purchasing Australia’s top-selling dual-cab 4x4 ute.

“These price adjustments for Ranger and Everest are a result of our regular evaluation of market conditions across our product portfolio, which take into consideration a number of different external factors such as currency and material cost considerations,” said Ford.
