Ford has previewed five heavily modified Mustangs that it will unveil at the 2018 SEMA show later this month.
Following tradition, each Ford Mustang has been created in co-operation with some of the most respected tuners in the US.
The first to be previewed is a Mustang GT that has been created in partnership with Californian-based Bojix.
Raiding the Ford Performance parts catalog, the V8-powered Mustang GT gets uprated springs, dampers and anti-roll bars to improve handling.
Boosting power of the 5.0-litre V8, Bojix added a supercharger and a louder sports exhaust.
Reigning in all that power, the Mustang GT gets a powerful Brembo brake package.
Externally, the Ford coupe gets a giant rear wing, aggressive front splitter, modified side sills and a unique paint job.
The next Mustang to be unveiled in Vegas is the CGS Motorsports Mustang GT.
Modified by yet another Californian-based tuner, the CGS 'Stang gets a Roush supercharger and a Ford Performance sports exhaust with subtle carbon-fibre tips.
Again, CGS has added large Brembo brakes and a custom grey paint job that features red highlights.
The Galpin Auto Sports (GAS) Mustang GT comes from the tuning arm of one of Ford's most successful dealers on the planet.
GAS has also gone to town with Ford Performance parts, including the go-faster division's supercharger, cat-back exhaust, short-throw shifter and uprated half-shafts.
Giving the Mustang some extra visual presence, GAS has added a full widebody kit that includes an enormous front splitter, fender extractor vents, extended side sills and new rear wheel-arch fender intakes.
Painted black with plenty of purple highlights, the GAS Mustang GT gets Shelby GT350R brakes.
Cashing in on the drifting scene, Ford's powerful rear-drive coupe has been heavily modified by Pennsylvanian-based tuner, CJ Pony Parts.
Featuring lowered springs and a beefy rear suspension upgrade, the drift-ready Mustang gets more power, thanks to a supercharger, sports exhaust, short-shift kit and an essential hydraulic handbrake.
Inside, there's a full roll cage and Recaro seats.
Finally, there's a widebody kit, prominent splitter, duck-tail bootlid spoiler and large gold wheels that contrast with what looks like matte grey paint.
This SEMA concept from Californian tuner TJIN is the only Mustang of the five to be shown that uses the pony car's turbocharged 2.3-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder, instead of a V8.
Painted purple and featuring a custom body, the Ford coupe gets air suspension, a larger turbocharger, the mandatory sports exhaust and bigger brakes.
Ford will unveil the five heavily modified Mustangs at SEMA on October 30.
