Ford's local performance arm will throw its doors wide open to the public on March 1. FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles) has endured its share of ups and downs in recent times. There was the management shake-up that saw Tickford offload three senior members of staff and there was the cancellation of the company's open day last year (more here).
This year however, things are getting back on track. The company has teed up FPR drivers Mark Winterbottom and Steven Richards to make an appearance, along with a range of FPV models.
For the kids, there'll be food stalls, face painting, a jumping castle and an animal farm.
The price of entry to the FPV facility at 33 Glenbarry Road Campbellfield is a gold coin donation, which will go to the Guide Dogs Association of Victoria. Starting time is 9am and the event concludes at 3pm.
