GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: 3D printed Czinger 21C previewed

All-new US hypercar features novel construction, 1+1 seating and hybrid powertrain

Fledgling US car-maker, Czinger, has released images of the all-new 21C hypercar it plans to unveil at the 2020 Geneva motor show next month.

Created to rival cars like the McLaren Speedtail, Californian-based Czinger says the 21C will draw influence from a team of designers and engineers who have worked for established hypercar-makers like Koenigsegg.

Named after the 21st century, the 21C features an unusual 1+1 seating arrangement that positions the driver dead-centre in the car.

Little else has been revealed, but Czinger (the 'c' is silent, in case you're wondering) says its first creation will feature a 'cutting edge' chassis.

Said to come with a powerful hybrid powertrain that's likely to produce well in excess of 750kW, the 21C appears to sport wild aerodynamic aids lifted off an LMP1 Le Mans racer.

Since the US car-maker takes its name from 3D printing pioneer Kevin Czinger, it's no surprise that the 21C benefits from a whole host of 3D printed parts.

More will be revealed in the build-up to its launch at the Swiss show.
