Bentley has revealed what it is calling the luxury pinnacle of its GT range: the new Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible.
Set to make its global debut on March 3 at the Geneva motor show, the big new British cabriolet will feature a raft of snazzy additions like a ‘Double Diamond’ grille, bespoke interior and freshly designed 22-inch wheels.
The latter are painted and polished and feature floating, self-levelling centre badges that remain upright on the move.
A silver and black diamond theme is featured around the GT’s exterior, while the new grille matches Bentley’s ‘Diamond-in-Diamond’ interior quilting on the seats, door trims and the soft-top tonneau roof.
Bentley says each vehicle has almost 400,000 stitches throughout the cabin, with the embroidery process taking around 18 months alone.
“Stunning interior jewellery” comes in the form of a brushed silver Breitling timepiece set within a quartet of chrome bullseyes, while the remainder of the cabin includes mood lighting with seven settings, illuminated Mulliner kick plates and LED welcome lamps that project Bentley wings on the ground.
Other features include an 18-speaker Naim sound system, leather key with its own hand-crafted presentation box and a choice of 61 paint options (or any item colour-matched if your pockets are deep enough).
When it arrives, the GT Mulliner Convertible will be available with either Bentley’s V8 or W12 engines, boasting 0-100km/h credentials of 4.1 and 3.8 seconds, respectively.
Stay tuned for more details from the Geneva motor show once the new model is unveiled.
