As a prelude to an official debut at the 2020 Geneva motor show on March 3, fledgling US hypercar company Czinger has fed a few more details of its 21C hybrid two-seat coupe.
We already knew the Czinger 21C (for 21st century) will incorporate a host of new in-house technologies including 3D printing of a proportion of its componentry.
And to achieve optimum lateral weight balance, the 21C passenger will ride piggyback behind the driver, who is centrally aligned along the car’s axis.
So the big news here is the 21C’s astounding power outputs, which Czinger now claims will total an incredible 1250hp or about 920kW from a self-designed 'strong hybrid powertrain'.
What's more, the Californian company says the all-wheel drive petrol-electric powertrain will be powerful enough to hit 100km/h in a claimed 1.9 seconds – which could make it the fastest-accelerating road car on the planet.
Czinger has also released a second teaser film showing the 21C in action.
