British coachbuilder, Kahn, has released a teasing picture of a convertible that's based on its Vengeance coupe.
Like its tin-top brother, the convertible Vengeance began life as an Aston Martin DB9 before undergoing a thorough makeover by the Bradford, England-based coachbuilder and aftermarket accessories expert.
Identical mechanically to the Aston Martin DB9, the Vengeance coupe retains its airbags and crash structures, something the convertible version is expected to repeat.
Under the bonnet that means the Kahn convertible features a 440kW/620Nm 6.0-litre V12 and six-speed automatic transmission.
Against the clock the Vengeance should take 4.6 seconds to reach 100km/h from standstill and hit 295km/h.
Like the coupe, the Kahn convertible is expected to ride on large 20-inch wheels at the front and larger still 21-inch wheels at the rear with wide 335 section tyres.
Pricing has yet to be confirmed, but the previous coupe was said to cost more than £300,000 ($A490,000).
