Fresh from releasing an upgraded Berlingo powered by a new turbo-diesel engine with six-speed automated manual transmission and idle-stop function in December, Citroen has now revealed a facelifted version of its small van.
Due to due debut at the Geneva motor show on March 3, before reach Australian showrooms around October, the compact French commercial features a new front bumper, revised grille and relocated LED daytime running lights.
Inside, there's a new 7.0-inch Touchdrive infotainment system with satellite-navigation and Mirror Link technology. The latter will be available in Europe by November, along with front parking sensors, reversing camera and autonomous low-speed braking.
It's unclear how many of these features will be offered in Australia, where the existing Berlingo is available in 1.6-litre petrol short-body and 1.6-litre diesel long-body configurations priced from $19,990 and the latter commanding a $5000 premium.
In Europe, the Berlingo line-up spans BlueHDi 75 manual, BlueHDi 100 manual, BlueHDi 100 S&S manual, Blue HDi 100 S&S ETG6, BlueHDi 120 S&S six-speed manual and even electric variants.
The Berlingo Multispace five-seat passenger van, which isn't sold in Australia, also gains two new exterior paint colours: Moka Grey and Cumulus Grey.
Citroen has also announced it will stage the world debut of the Berlingo MOUNTAIN VIBE CONCEPT at Geneva.
