GENEVA MOTOR SHOW: Pininfarina teases potential saviour
Debt-stricken design firm to unveil new vehicle under Mahindra ownershipLegendary Italian design house Pininfarina has released a teaser image of its latest concept vehicle, to be unveiled at the Geneva motor show next month.
The image, depicting a sculptural front-end that suggests the concept has sporting ambitions, will be the first from the Pininfarina stable since Mahindra purchased a controlling interest in the debt-ridden design house in 2015. It now owns 76 per cent of the company’s shares.
The Indian giant’s stated aim has been to reduce Pininfarina’s debt, which amounts to around $42.5 million.
Pininfarina will unveil its new machine on March 1.
