Renault has named and revealed a little more of the futuristic fully-autonomous concept it will unveil this time next week at the Geneva motor show.
Already spotted over the weekend, the new EZ-GO concept's latest appearance is in an official video that lasts only a few seconds but is more than long enough time to understand what sort of car Renault will reveal.
In the short vid we see three passengers sitting on a side bench within a large glass pod-like cabin.
Interestingly, there's no sign of any steering wheel, pedals or any manual override controls for any of the occupants to operate.
This suggests the EZ-GO will drive itself in all conditions because it has been developed for ride-hail service for the likes of Lyft and Uber.
Picking up where last year's Symbioz concept left off it's thought, not only will the EZ-GO feature autonomous driving capability, it will come with a development of the wild Frankfurt motor show car's pure-electric powertrain.
That means expect the EZ-GO to come with a 72kWh lithium-ion battery that will provide for a range of more than 500km. The self-driving pure-electric car will also be able to be charged up to 80 per cent capacity in just 20 minutes.
Unlike the Symbioz, expect the EZ-GO to come with electric motors that produce significantly less than the Frankfurt car's 500kW/660Nm.
More teases are expected leading up to its official debut at the Geneva motor show on March 6.
