McLaren will unveil the production version of its P1 to the world's press at the Geneva motor show on March 5.
The concept car that predated the production model was introduced at the Paris motor show last year, but this is the real deal – the car the well heeled will be able to buy.
As a tease leading up to the company dropping the shroud in Geneva, McLaren has uploaded to the web an impressive video of the P1 in profile, its digital 'race-inspired' dash and some footage of a disguised pre-production car at speed – all to a pumping soundtrack that blends upbeat music with a high-revving engine. In the video the side profile footage of the car shows its rear wing rising to maximum height.
