Porsche's second-gen Cayenne doesn't launch here until July 24, but the aftermarket mobs have already got their paws on the revamped SUV and gone berserk with their crayons.
Witness Lumma Design's wide-body CLR 550 GT, which is almost a cartoonish caricature of a vehicle that began life as a Cayenne.
For now, the German tuning/customising firm has released only these renderings of the CLR 550 GT, but it's a safe bet the actual vehicle won't be any less striking.
It'd be hard to miss the remodelled Darth Vader-esque face, which is adorned by a raft of air intakes, LED daytime running lights and a pair of projector beams in the lower extremity of the carbonfibre lip spoiler.
The carbon-Kevlar bonnet features additional cooling vents and its slightly higher profile is said to conceal the windshield wipers to reduce drag around the cowl area.
The pumped guards are stuffed with 23-inch rims shod with ultra-low-profile rubber (just the thing for off-road excursions), while the cutouts in the side skirts channel air to help cool the rear brakes.
Lumma Design hasn't neglected the derriere either, as protruding from the Le Mans-racer-style diffuser is a trio (an odd number?) of tailpipes.
They've also bunged on a bespoke rear bumper, taillight trim and a pair carbonfibre spoilers (one atop and one below the rear windscreen) that allegedly add downforce to boost high-speed stability.
The company hasn't as yet released any details of engine/chassis upgrades, so it appears the outrageous body mods are as far as they've got for now.
However, give it time and there's bound to be a 500kW upgrade package...
