Ateco Automotive can provide Aussie tourists to Europe with an early test drive of the new C5. The Citroen importer won't be delivering the new car to local buyers until the southern hemisphere spring, but from $112 a day, tourists can pick up the new car for an extended test drive through Europe and even North Africa.
Citroen will make the new C5 available for lease in Europe from June 1 and drivers can opt for any of a range of engines, including a 2.7-litre turbodiesel V6.
"There could be few better ways to see Europe than in the new Citroen C5," says Miles Williams, General Manager for Citroen in Australia.
"It is spacious, comfortable, stylish and -- remembering European fuel prices -- very economical, not to mention with European drivers, safe with its EuroNCAP five star rating.
"With Citroen DriveEurope it is possible, as with all models in our programme, to choose exactly the model, version and even equipment that meet individual needs."
The Citroen DriveEurope program permits drivers to cross borders while in Europe and the program is valid in up to 40 countries -- from Ireland to Turkey, from Finland to Morocco. Prices start from as low as $28 a day. All charges are included and the transaction is payable up-front, in Australian dollars.
Citroen extends the program to cover every model in the company's range, so if the C5 is too large, other vehicles -- such as C3 and C4 -- can be leased instead, for the duration of the stay.
