GM runs road shows in the USA, providing an opportunity for individuals to drive the latest models from the corporation's various divisions.
Rock up on the day and you can try a C6 Corvette or a Cadillac CTS-V. Frequently, the days are well attended and there's usually a queue to drive the more popular cars.
Holden is about to try this type of direct marketing campaign in Australia. Commencing this month, 'Holden's Road Show' will work its way through country areas of Victoria and New South Wales.
For those attending, it's a chance to drive the VE Ute in either SV6 or SS V trim levels. As well as the Utes, the Road Show will present the WM Caprice, Captiva, turbodiesel Rodeo, Epica and Commodore.
