Brambles has announced that Tom Gorman, departing Ford Australia President, will head up the company's CHEP EMEA subsidiary.
Gorman's new title is Group President and, with effect from March 1, he will run the division and its offices throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The CEO of Brambles, Mike Ihlein, said: "Tom Gorman has worked for Ford for more than 20 years and has been President of Ford Australia since 2004."
"He has worked in Europe and North America and, as President of Ford Australia, has driven operational efficiencies and implemented a strategic reorganisation of the business."
Brambles is apparently in a growing phase, with the company having announced several senior positions, including three group presidents, of which Gorman is one.
