Delivery Magazine has announced awards for 'Light Commercial Vehicle of the Year'. Delivery, a publication that specialises in covering the light commercial vehicle market and passenger vehicles for fleets, has based the awards on criteria that are important factors in the buying decisions of fleet purchasers.
The awards were presented in eight different categories:
Ford had a field day, winning three awards, including the award shared with Mazda for the BT-50 and Ranger siblings.
The Falcon fitted with the e-Gas single fuel LPG engine won the award for best fleet car and undoubtedly benefited from a retail price which undercuts Holden's newer Commodore with dual fuel LPG option by $1000.
Chrysler's 300 CRD was judged best luxury fleet car, proving that even fleet buyers of luxury cars will look twice at a car that offers lower running costs.
