
The Holden Colorado Black Edition accessory pack has been announced, a $3995 optional package for crew cab models. Holden's new 'dark horse' gazumps Toyota's heavily marketed HiLux Black ute which is yet to be revealed, but is rumoured to be unveiled tomorrow, on AFL Grand Final day.
Holden's Black Edition offers customers a saving of $1000 on the extra accessories says Holden, the almost $4K package adding the following features:
- Hard tonneau cover
- Black sports bar
- Black nudge bar
- Black bonnet protector
- Slimline weathershields
- Two iPad cradles for rear-seat passengers (while stocks last)
The new Colorado upgrade pack is worth more than $5000 at retail prices and is a dealer-fitted upgrade. It will be offered on new Holden Colorado ute until the end of 2014 (December 31).
It will be shown at the Deni Ute Muster (Deniliquin, NSW) on October 3 and 4, the world's largest gathering of utes which is expected to attract more than 20,000 people.
The Holden Colorado Black Edition will be shown alongside the Nürburgring world-record breaking VF SS V Redline ute and the Holden State of Origin liveried Colorado ute at the Muster.
General Motor's Australian arm is sponsoring two popular events at the Deni Ute Muster, the Holden Grunt Off and the Holden Barrel Race.
