Holden: It's business as usual

Local operation not affected by GM bankruptcy

Ahead of its press conference later this morning Holden has issued a statement claiming operations will continue as normal despite parent company General Motors filing for bankruptcy.

Holden Chairman Mark Reuss says the firm will form a part of the New GM and plans for updates to the Commodore and local Cruze production remain unaffected. Reuss will host a press conference this morning at Holden's Port Melbourne headquarters and we will update you once it is over. Below is the Holden statement reproduced in full.
