Honda heroes get sporty for 06
Honda has debuted a Euro Sport and updated its S2000 sportster...Civic duties may have been the main focus at Honda Australia the last few weeks however, the Japanese marque has also added a sports variant of its top-selling Accord Euro sedan and spruced up the S2000.
The limited edition Honda Euro Sport is based on the entry-level model Accord Euro and is limited to a production run of 1200 units.
Available in both six-speed manual and five-speed auto versions, the Euro Sport boasts:
Curtain airbags
Driving lights
Alloy wheels
Sports body kit including grille
Black chrome door handles and window surrounds
Alloy gear shift and carbon-look interior trim
Red dash illumination
Leather and cloth sports seats
Meantime, Honda has also updated its two-place sportscar, the S2000.
The compact hotshoe convertible has been freshened for 2006 gaining new 17-inch wheels, headrest speakers, drive-by-wire throttle and Vehicle Stability Assist.
The S2000's price remains from $72,590.
On sale since last week, the Honda Euro Sport is priced from $37,500 (manual). The auto is $2000 more.
