Hoonifox: Ken Block's latest Mustang

Goodbye Hoonicorn Mustang – hello Hoonifox Mustang! Gymkhana will never be the same

Daredevil drift king Ken Block has released an in-depth video documenting how his latest beastly car design came together.

Although the car hasn't been built yet, the new Hoonifox design (which replaces the 630kW Hoonicorn) has now come together and been revealed in a tell-all video.

The new all-wheel drive Ford Mustang creation was inspired by the 1980s Miami Vice era, explains Block, and will play a starring role in the next Gymkhana video. His high-octane drift videos, combined, have been viewed more than 100 million times on YouTube.

Designed by Ash Thorp, who reveals he's also working on the new Batmobile for the next Batman flick – dubbed The Batman and starring Robert Pattinson – the new Hoonifox vehicle features a wild new look based on 'Fox' bodied Mustang vehicles.

It seems like everyone's getting their own Mustang these days, from the police to EV fans and even off-road mud-pluggers.

Anyway, if you're a Ken Block fan, you'll love the 21 minute interview with driver and designer.
