Hot 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V debuted in full

High-end luxury-performance EV is the quickest Caddy yet and headed to Aus

The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V has made its global debut ahead of its Australian introduction early next year, with the hot EV officially the quickest Cadillac product to date.

Powered by a 459kW/880Nm dual-motor powertrain, the Lyriq-V will launch from 0-97km/h in a claimed 3.3 seconds with the help of launch control, though no top speed has been communicated.

The motors are sustained by a 102kWh battery pack which provides a claimed range of up to 459km off a single charge.

As shown previously, the Lyriq-V dons a much more aggressive aesthetic than the lesser variants and pairs it with performance-tuned adaptive dampers, lower and firmer springs and quickened steering, not to mention ‘Competitive Mode’ which acts like a traditional Sport+ drive mode.

A Brembo braking package hides behind the unique 22-inch alloy wheels which in turn are shod with fat 275/40-profile tyres.

Inside the cabin you’ll find the familiar Lyriq ensemble has been enhanced through a series of sporty touches the V-Series steering wheel, paperwood décor, performance seats with power-adjustable bolsters and dedicated graphics for the dual-screen 33-inch interface.

A panoramic fixed glass roof, 23-speaker AKG sound system and a dual-plane augmented reality head up display will also be included out of the box.

“Lyriq-V brings luxury, technology and performance together to push its capabilities to the limit,” chief engineer Dave Stutzman said.

Australia pricing and specifications will be announced closer to the Lyriq-V’s local introduction, though the starting price is expected to surpass $125,000 plus on-road costs.
