HOT DEALS: The time is right

What a great time of year this is for new car buyers

Old models out, new models in -- and the winner is you. Obviously the campaigns held over the last couple of months haven't cleared out all the '06 models, so there are a number of manufacturers coming out with new offers to tempt you.

Just to remind you of Hot Deals that are still running:
Mitsubishi's Revolution -- Motor Show special: $500 fuel card with the new Outlander LS
Toyota's Toyotathon -- still big business discounts available
Kia's '06 Model Clearance -- they've still got some stock left
Mazda's Last Chance -- '06 model clearance is still on
Fiat's SatNav Bonus -- the Punto with SatNav worth $599

Here's some new Hot Deals we've uncovered for you this week...

15 per cent off Holdens
With Holden saying its dealers are heavily overstocked, head office has instructed them to clear '06 models by the end of March. To get your business, they're offering a 15 per cent discount on the VE Commodore, VZ Commodore Wagon, Barina, Astra, Crewman, Statesman, Viva, Rodeo, Adventra, Ute, Captiva and others. 15 per cent off $30,000, for instance, is a saving of $4500. Pretty tempting, you'd have to say.

Ford's own Territory
For a limited time, Ford is offering the Territory SR with $4200 of extra value. That includes a charcoal sports leather seat trim pack, cruise control, 17-inch sports alloys and genuine Ford running boards. The Territory SR is available in either all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. So if you've been looking at the Territory, now's the time to buy.

Lexus Finance Demonstration
Lexus has again launched its annual Demonstrator Event- a time when approved business applicants can receive finance at a rate of 4.9 per cent on all demonstrator vehicles excluding the IS250, GS450h and RX400h. That's about as good at it gets at the moment -- but it only goes until March 31 or while stocks last, so be quick. Minimum amount financed is $10,000.

Subaru's Imprezive
At $23,990 the 2007 Impreza 2.0i manual sedan is going out with free Compulsory Third Party insurance, rego, stamp duty, and dealer delivery -- that can add up to a  few grand. The sedan auto is at $25,990, the hatch manual at $24,440, and the hatch auto at $26,440. For a limited time, so be quick!
