Hyundai i30 with Trophy again
Hyundai makes the most of current i30 with special edition 'Trophy' modelThe current i30 model has received a push from Hyundai Australia. Apparently "popular demand" has prompted the brand here to reintroduce the 'Trophy' special edition model, as offered in 2010.
Back then, the Trophy edition was released "to celebrate local sales success" of the i30, which was released in 2007. Hyundai claims over 3700 Trophy-spec i30 models were sold in 2010. Since 2007, Hyundai Australia has sold over 98,500 i30 models.
The Trophy i30 model is based on the 2.0-litre petrol version but comes with grey 16-inch alloys, a rear spoiler, front fog lights and 'Trophy' badges.
Interior upgrades include leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearknob. The Trophy i30 model also comes with cruise control.
Setting the Trophy model apart from the others, the i30 offers a choice from a range of four special edition exterior colours: Ceramic White, Tropic Red (pictured), Santorini Blue and Hyper Silver.
The Hyundai i30 Trophy models start from $21,690 for the manual-equipped version, or $23,690 with automatic. Add $375 for metallic paint (for the Hyper Silver).
