Hyundai has been caught testing its new Euro hatch. Following the example set by sister company Kia, Hyundai will launch the new European designed and built model into in the EC marketplace in late 2007.

Based on the Cee'd and likely to adopt the Arnejs showcar's moniker, the new five-door hatch will feature styling tweaks to separate it from its Kia sibling and will be officially unveiled at next September's Frankfurt Motor Show.

The big question for Aussie consumers is when, or indeed whether, we will see the attractively styled and cannily-equipped Euro-Koreans Down Under. At this stage, officially, Australia and the USA will continue to receive an Elantra-based model range.
