The Lexus GS 460 will hit the showrooms in March, priced from $134,900. Equipped with the engine from the LS 460 (more here), the GS 460 replaces the GS 430 for a price approximately two per cent less than the price of the superseded model's.
In spite of the reduced pricing, the new car will feature an eight-speed automatic transmission to channel the torque from the engine.
Of the other models in the range, the GS 300 Sports Luxury has been reduced in price from $112,524 to $105,900 -- a reduction Lexus estimates to be almost six per cent --
The GS 300 Sports has risen in price from $95,174 to $96,900, but as for all 2008 models, now comes with Adaptive Variable Suspension, premium leather and VDIM stability control as standard.
As for the GS 300 Sports, the GS 450h hybrid model has risen from $121,964 to $124,900.
Chief Executive for Lexus Australia, John Roca, said: "Across the board, Lexus has either reduced price or increased specification, while our hybrids continue to represent outstanding value".
