J-Lo makes Pirelli Calendar debut
Jennifer Lopez is one of six women featured in the 2006 Pirelli Calendar, expected in Australia this month. It's the first time the Latino lovely has been photographed for the famous calendar.J-Lo and fellow beauties including Giselle Bundchen and Kate Moss have been photographed by renowned photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, with beautiful scenes from the French Riviera and Cap d'Antibes.
The mainly black and white photos have a sixties and seventies 'mood', which Mert and Piggot say blends tradition and innovation, paying homage to the Pirelli calendar's "historical significance and the legend that has accompanied it over the years".
The release of the 2006 Pirelli calendar coincides with the launch of a new website portal devoted to 'The Cal' that presents 42 years of the history of photography, at www.pirellical.com
