Jaguar has revealed that its 2019 F-TYPE will come with a whole host of updates beneath the skin, designed to keep both the coupe and roadster attractive to buyers.
The big news is that, as part of the model refresh, the entire F-TYPE range will be renamed in line with Jaguar Land Rover's new naming strategy.
This will see the entry-level 2.0-litre turbo model adopt the 'P300' nameplate, while the two V6 versions will be renamed the P340 and P380.
The F-TYPE SVR, meanwhile, keeps its nameplate.
Beneath the skin, all versions of the coupe and roadster will come with a brake-based torque vectoring system as standard, while the P380 is upgraded to include a standard limited-slip differential and adaptive dampers.
Inside, the 2019 F-TYPE gets Jaguar's overhauled 10-inch InControl Touch Pro infotainment system that, shortly after it goes on sale, will be upgraded to incorporate both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other small changes include redesigned air-vents and a frameless rear-view mirror.
Customers ordering the 2019 F-TYPE will have the choice of 18 paint options that includes a new matt finish, which in markets like the UK will cost a sobering $11,000.
New alloy wheels and as well as a spoiler delete option complete the mild external tweaks for the 19MY F-TYPE SVR.
In the UK, deliveries begin in May, but it's not yet known when the 2019 F-TYPE range will arrive Down Under.
