US offroad icon brand Jeep is celebrating its 65th anniversary with… You guessed it -- a sale!
First mass produced in 1941 (according to the maker), 2006 marks the 65th anniversary of the brand. Aussie SUV buyers will benefit from a 65-day sale which runs through to the end of July (2006).
The sale offers free Garmin GPS navigation units across the Jeep range and special pricing on selected Wrangler, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee models.
“The 65 day sale pays homage to Jeep’s rich heritage, giving customers the opportunity to join in the celebrations.” said Gerry Jenkins, managing director, Chrysler Group Australia.
The free sat-nav units differ for each model and are all portable units – ie: not dash integrated.
Special pricing is offered for the Jeep Wrangler Sport manual soft-top at $29,990 drive-away, Jeep Cherokee Sport 3.7L ($38,990 drive-away) and Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4.7L ($53,990 drive-away).
