Jeep has released a couple of teaser images showing two of seven new concept vehicles that will debut in time for the Moab Easter Jeep Safari from March 19.
Moab, in Utah, will host the 50th annual event this year, making 2016 is a big deal for the off-road brand with its roots in military vehicles.
In a brief press release issued today, Jeep has announced the two vehicles pictured in the teaser images will be the Jeep Wrangler 'Trailcat' and the Jeep 'Crew Chief', which the teaser image indicates could be based on the Jeep Chief from last year's event. That vehicle sat on a Wrangler platform, but embodied styling cues from the Cherokee of the 1970s.
More information will follow once the event commences. Moab will run from March 19 to 27 this year.
