Jeep Patriot and Compass concepts

Making their debut at IAA, Jeep's Patriot and Compass promise to deliver fun, freedom, utility, capability, as well as the potential for exceptional fuel economy and interior flexibility!

Powered by Daimler-Chrysler's all-new 2.4lt 'World Engine' and an all-new 2.0lt diesel, the Patriot and Compass concepts could utilise a new CVT/AWD drivetrain.

The two compact Jeep concepts complement each other says the maker.

The Patriot is a modern interpretation of classic Jeep styling designed to appeal to compact SUV buyers who want traditional Jeep styling with best-in-class off-road capability.

The Compass is sleek and sophisticated with a rally car toughness, says Jeep. Aimed to broaden the global appeal of the Jeep brand and attract new buyers, the Compass is the right size for world markets and would offer performance, fuel economy and value in the highly competitive compact SUV segment, the company stated.
