Jeep value-adds Grand Cherokee
Jeep is adding value by telling people where to go!All-wheel drive marque Jeep has launched a value-added variant to its Grand Cherokee range-topper. Dubbed the Grand Cherokee Navigator, the pack adds around $4500 worth of navigation system and equipment to Grand Cherokee models.
The Navigator pack features a touch-screen GPS-based navigation system, but also includes alloy side steps and nudge bar plus a removable roof rack system, tow kit, headlight protectors and slimline front window weathershields.
Available for "a short time only" across the full Grand Cherokee range, the good news for Jeep buyers is that the pack is offered at no extra charge.
"People buy the Jeep Grand Cherokee for its capability, refinement, outstanding value and unmatched heritage," said Gerry Jenkins, managing director, Chrysler Group Australia.
"The Grand Cherokee Navigator takes our value proposition to the next level," he said.
The current Grand Cherokee range includes Laredo and Limited trim and equipment levels and the choice of a V6 3.0-litre CRD turbodiesel and two petrol V8s including the top-of-the-range 5.7-litre HEMI.
Jeep will later this year launch a SRT-8 version of the Grand Cherokee boasting a 6.1-litre HEMI with, it's claimed, Porsche Cayenne humbling performance.
