Set to debut at the Paris Motor Show, Kia's pro_cee'd concept car is a bulked-up version of Kia's cee'd 'sporty hatch' models which are due for release in Europe in 2007.
The cee'd-on-steoroids gets 19-inch wheels, sports interior and chrome-finished instruments and was designed to indicate Kia's "evolving design language".
"With pro-cee'd we have seized the opportunity of the Paris Show to create a teaser car that will build eager anticipation of future Kia models," says Gregory Guillaume, Chief Designer Kia, European Design Centre.
The pro_cee'd concept car reveals the lowered roof-line (25mm lower compared to the five-door cee'd) and smaller side windows that the upcoming sporty hatch model will feature.
The sporty hatch cee'd will be the third model in the line-up. Kia says designers set out to differentiate the five-door and three-door cee'd models from the sporty hatch as much as possible, without losing family likeness.
