
Kia will pitch a strong safety, equipment and value-for-money message when its mid-size Magentis goes on sale late next week.
Fuel economy figures for both Magentis four-cylinder and V6 versions won’t go astray either. And the car’s fuel economy story will get even stronger, if Kia decides to import the diesel version that’s on sale in Europe and currently under evaluation for here.
The warranty story’s good, too, and stepped up to match stablemate (and owner) Hyundai’s five-years/130,000kms. Yes, that’s the same as Mitsubishi’s model-wide warranty.
